Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced CAD and GIS Technician to join our Water Ground Assessment Team in Scotland. You will produce, manage and coordinate high-quality drawings for ground investigation and geoenvironmental deliverables, working closely with geotechnical engineers to support the full range of ground assessment deliverables.

The role requires AutoCAD expertise, Civil 3D, GIS and familiarity with ISO 19650 and managed common data environments.

Qualifications

• Expert AutoCAD user with strong Civil 3D proficiency.
• Geographic information systems and geospatial measurement systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Produce, manage and coordinate high‑quality drawings for ground investigation deliverables.
• Support geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineers with site layout plans and utility drawings.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure CAD standards compliance.
