Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced CAD and GIS Technician to produce and manage high-quality drawings for ground investigation and assessment deliverables. You will collaborate with geotechnical engineers to support site layouts, hole plans and geological sections.

You will maintain CAD standards, manage geospatial data and contribute to CAD/GIS improvements within a growing Ground Assessment team. Hybrid working and professional development are available.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND/degree in CAD, Civil Engineering, Geomatics or related discipline.
• Several years of experience and expert AutoCAD user with Civil 3D proficiency.
• Solid working knowledge of GIS, geospatial data, ISO 19650 and managed common data environments.

Responsibilities

• Produce, manage and coordinate high-quality drawings for ground investigation and assessment deliverables.
• Create site layouts, hole location plans, utility plans and geological cross sections.
• Manage geospatial data, survey data, mapping datasets and utility records.
• Maintain drawing registers and CAD standards; contribute to CAD/GIS workflow improvements.
