Job summary

Reevr Talent Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a SolidWorks Designer with strong sheet metal experience to produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings and translate engineering requirements into practical designs.

You'll work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, interpret technical specifications, and amend drawings as needed, leveraging folding, bending and fabrication knowledge for efficient manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks.
• Proven experience producing both 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
• Previous experience designing sheet metal components and fabricated products.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, including folding, bending and fabrication.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and produce accurate manufacturing documentation.
• A practical, detail-oriented approach to engineering design.

Responsibilities

SolidWorks Designer - Sheet Metal Experience

I'm currently working with an engineering and manufacturing business that is looking for an experienced SolidWorks Designer with a strong background in sheet metal design and fabrication.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically capable draughtsman who can produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings and translate engineering requirements into practical, manufacturable designs.

The Role

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
• Develop and modify sheet metal designs and components.
• Create accurate manufacturing drawings and technical documentation.
