Job summary

Reevr Talent Ltd is seeking a CAD Designer for a London-based specialist engineering business delivering bespoke interior solutions. The role combines CAD design with project management, including regular site visits and client meetings to take projects from concept through installation.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of CAD design experience, strong AutoCAD skills and the ability to translate concepts into practical, manufacturable designs while coordinating with architects, contractors

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in CAD design, architectural metalwork, sheet metalwork or joinery design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience producing technical drawings and fabrication drawings.
• Strong eye for detail and the ability to translate concepts into manufacturable designs.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage your own workload.
• A proactive, ambitious approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Producing detailed CAD drawings and bespoke designs using AutoCAD.
• Managing your own CAD design workload from initial concept through to manufacture.
• Developing architectural metalwork, sheet metalwork and interior design solutions.
• Producing fabrication drawings and ensuring designs are practical and buildable.
• Working closely with fabrication teams to resolve technical design issues.
• Liaising with clients, architects and contractors to develop strong working relationships.
• Carrying out site surveys and coordinating with installation teams.
• Supporting project planning, scheduling and labour management.
• Reporting to the Design Manager and Director.

This varied CAD Designer role offers a 60% design and 40% project management split, with regular London site visits, client meetings and the opportunity to take ownership of projects from concept through to installation.

Key Responsibilities of a CAD Designer:

• Producing detailed CAD drawings and bespoke designs using AutoCAD.
