Job Opportunity: CAD Designer in London

My client, a specialist, innovative multidisciplinary consultancy, is seeking a CAD Designer based in the vibrant capital city of London.

Essential Criteria:

1. Demonstrable experience in the UK water industry, working as a CAD Technician.
2. Professional proficiency in software packages including Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and AutoCAD Civils 3D.
3. Good working knowledge of civil detailing practices related to water infrastructure.
4. Confidence in interpreting and applying engineer mark-ups and specifications.
5. Understanding of multidisciplinary model coordination and BIM workflows.

Desirable Skills:

• Ability to produce high-quality design outputs.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Organised, adaptable, and flexible in managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Role Responsibilities:

• Preparation of 2D and 3D drawings and models for water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Producing general arrangements, RC details, site plans, using Revit and Civils 3D.
• Collaborating within the Autodesk Construction Cloud environment to coordinate designs.
• Reviewing models, QA/QC, and assembling drawing packages for construction and tenders.
• Updating revision records and drawing registers to meet project standards.
