Electrical CAD Designer - Defence Engineering

We're looking for an experienced Electrical CAD Designer to join a growing hardware engineering team working on a high-profile maritime platform management project. This is more than just a job-it's an opportunity to contribute to critical national defence systems and be part of a team that thrives on innovation, collaboration, and purpose.

What You'll Do:

• Create and review electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical (or similar tools)
• Support the development and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineering teams to ensure design integrity
• Develop and manage component libraries for schematic design
• Maintain configuration control and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Raise and implement Change Notes (CNs) as required

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in an Electrical CAD design role
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent CAD software
• Familiarity with defence-related electrical standards
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or within a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
