Job summary

Sumitomo Electric is launching a new manufacturing operation at Port of Nigg, Highland, and seeks Production Operators to join the team. You will work across the production process after training, with focus on safety, quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven production experience.
• English and Maths at Standard Grade level or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up process equipment to meet the production plan.
• Perform basic maintenance of production equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping to minimise hazards and accidents.
• Record process data for analysis and quality audits.
• Operate Forklift Truck and overhead cranes when trained.
• Ensure handover between shifts and report daily accomplishments.
