Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is partnering with a large global manufacturer to recruit a Production Operative for a 6-month, full-time night shift position on-site in Perth, Scotland. The shift runs Monday to Thursday, 20:30–07:00 with three breaks; PPE is provided and overtime is available.

The role focuses on safety, quality, and team collaboration as you train colleagues, operate and troubleshoot production lines, and lead shift handovers while taking accountability for daily results.

• Effective communication within and between teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain safety, quality, appearance, and attendance standards on your shift.
• Assist in training and qualification of your team to operate, maintain, changeover, and troubleshoot equipment.
• Set daily direction in operating areas through tier meetings and handovers.
• Lead troubleshooting of open barriers to find root causes.
• Take accountability for results and decisions in your operating areas during your shift.
