Job summary

James Cropper are seeking Production Operators to join our packaging manufacturing team in the South Lakes. You will operate and maintain machinery, monitor quality, and work with the production team to hit daily targets in a fast-paced environment.

This is a shift-based role with 12-hour days and nights on a 3-shift rotation (6am–6pm / 6pm–6am). We offer a competitive salary and benefits including pension contributions, a health plan, and wellbeing support to help you grow with a global leader

Qualifications

• Experience in a production or manufacturing role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operating and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production processes.
• Monitoring quality standards and contribute to high-quality paper production.
• Working closely with the production team to meet daily targets.
• Identifying and resolve minor equipment issues to minimise downtime.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
• Taking part in continuous improvement activities to streamline production.
