This is a hands‑on workshop position suited to an experienced furniture maker or cabinetmaker who enjoys producing high‑quality bespoke furniture and fitted cabinetry rather than working on repetitive production lines.
The business undertakes a varied range of projects, including bespoke kitchens, fitted furniture, wardrobes, dressing rooms, boot rooms and individual pieces of furniture and cabinetry. As a result, the successful Cabinet Maker will have the opportunity to work across different products, materials and projects.
Working as part of a skilled workshop team, you will be responsible for the manufacture and assembly of bespoke furniture and cabinetry from drawings through to completion. The role will include:
We are looking for a skilled Cabinet Maker, Cabinetmaker, Bench Joiner or Furniture Maker with a solid background in bespoke furniture or high‑quality joinery. You should be confident working from drawings and able to take a project through the manufacturing process with a good level of independence. Experience required:
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who combines excellent cabinetmaking skills with good commercial awareness. You should care about the quality of the finished product but also understand the importance of working efficiently and meeting production deadlines.
