Job summary

Asper Recruitment’s client, an experienced joinery manufacturer, seeks a full-time bench joiner/cabinet maker for their well-equipped workshop. The role focuses on manufacturing bespoke joinery by reading production drawings and delivering high-quality pieces with attention to detail.

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of bench joinery experience, a senior level in the workshop, and a strong commitment to health and safety. Flexibility with hours to meet production needs is required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience in a joinery workshop producing bespoke joinery.
• Able to read and interpret production drawings.
• Senior level joinery workshop experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture bespoke joinery pieces in the workshop.
• Maintain a clean and efficient workshop environment.
• Follow Health & Safety policies and wear PPE as required.
• Report any H&S issues to the Manufacturing Manager.
• Demonstrate good timekeeping and reliability.

My client is an experienced manufacturer in bespoke joinery.

My client are looking for a full time, experienced bench joiner/cabinet maker to join there team manufacturing joinery in there well-equipped and modern workshop.

General bench joinery workshop responsibilities:

1. To contribute to maintaining a clean and efficient workshop.
2. To have the flexibility to sometimes vary working hours to suit production needs.
3. To understand and adhere to the company's Health & Safety policy including when the use of PPE is compulsory.
4. To alert the Manufacturing Manager of anything that you feel could affect H&S.
5. To show good time keeping.
6. At least 3 years experience in a joinery workshop producing bespoke joinery.
