Job summary

John Menzies Aviation in Greater London is seeking a Shift Allocator to manage de-icers, aircraft cleaners and cleaners/drivers for 150–200 staff, ensuring aircraft are de-iced, cleaned and serviced on time according to airline standards.

You will allocate resources to flights, liaise with customers by phone, and maintain shift safety and reporting, while coordinating with the Aircraft Ops Manager for training needs and safety compliance.

Role Purpose

Responsible for the allocation and performance of a shift of de-icers, aircraft cleaners, cleaner/drivers of 150-200 staff. Ensuring that all aircrafts are de-iced, cleaned, and serviced to the airlines standards and agreed timescales.

What you will be doing

• Have a full understanding of the airline standards and requirements.
• Allocate resources which includes staff and equipment to flights.
• Liaise with customers on flights and by telephone.
• Have a full understanding of office coordinator role and be able to work this function
• Complete all delay, accident and shift reports.
• Liaise with Aircraft Ops Manager of any training requirements within the shifts.
• A complete understanding of all Health & Safety aspects of the operation.
