Job summary

Boden is seeking a Buying Admin Assistant to support our Womenswear product development from samples to final delivery. You’ll liaise with suppliers, track critical paths, and ensure timely, high-quality outputs while keeping PLM data accurate and organized.

This 6-month maternity cover role offers a dynamic entry into Boden’s creative and collaborative buying team, requiring strong organisation, attention to detail, and proficient use of Excel and Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate product development across samples to final delivery, using PLM and BOMs.
• Own and update the department critical path with weekly supplier meetings and approvals.
• Coordinate samples for fittings, shoots and meetings to ensure on-time and well-presented delivery.
• Maintain PLM data and assist with order confirmations and development files.

Overview At Boden, our Buying Admin Assistants play a key role in bringing our beautiful collections to life. Reporting into the Buyer, you’ll provide vital support across all stages of product development - from first samples to final delivery. You’ll manage samples, liaise with suppliers, track critical paths, and keep our systems running smoothly to ensure everything arrives on time and to the high standards we’re known for. If you’re organised, proactive, and have a real passion for product, this is an exciting opportunity to learn the full buying process within a creative and collaborative team. Please note this role is for a 6 Month Maternity Cover Interim role, and will finish at the beginning of April 2027

What You Will Do

Product Development:

Support the creation of our Womenswear ranges, working closely with internal teams and suppliers to bring each design to life. Notify suppliers when development BOMs are created on PLM and ready for sampling.

Critical Path Management:

Own and update the department critical path, ensuring key milestones are met and deliveries stay on track through weekly team and supplier meetings. Communicate lap dip, trim, and bulk approvals in line with timelines, flagging any concerns early and proposing solutions.

Sample Management:

Coordinate samples for fittings, shoots, and trade meetings, making sure everything arrives on time and is beautifully presented. Work with Technical and Production teams to ensure Photo, TOP, and Press samples are ordered and delivered for shoots.

Systems & Administration:

Maintain PLM data accurately and assist with order confirmations and production BOMs. Keep our approvals and development files organised and up to date.
