Confidential in Horsham, West Sussex, is seeking a Buyer / Purchasing Assistant. You will handle purchasing of materials, source at best price and quality, manage stock levels and plan requirements to purchase. Office-based, Mon-Thu 8.30am-5.15pm, Fri 8.30am-1pm.

This varied, long-term role suits someone with purchasing or procurement experience, ideally from engineering, with training and progression on offer and a friendly, supportive team culture.

In this varied role you will be carrying out duties related to the purchasing of materials and components, sourcing them at the best price and quality, and liaising with suppliers. You will be responsible for stock control and will be proactive when planning out the requirements to purchase.

This role would suit someone from a procurement, supply chain or purchasing background, looking for a varied day to day in a long-term role with a company who genuinely cares about their staff.
