£30,000 - £35,000 + Training (Opportunity to acquire CIPS) + Progression as company grows + Pension

Office based, commutable from Bristol, Gloucester, Swindon, Weston, Bath, Yate, and the surrounding areas.

Are you from a Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Technical Buying background looking for the chance to work in an autonomous role within a bespoke mechanical and electrical contractor who will invest in your technical expertise, all whilst working towards progressing your career and having the chance to put your own stamp on the role overseeing the procurement process from cradle to grave.

This is a brand new opportunity where you will manage the procurement process from cradle to grave with full autonomy and support where needed through training and the scope to further your career all with a great work life balance.

The company specialises in providing comprehensive Mechanical, Electrical, and Renewable Energy solutions, encompassing design, installation, and maintenance services. Their expertise supports the delivery of complex projects, including listed, heritage, and special-purpose developments throughout Bristol and the South of England.

The role involves managing the procurement process to ensure materials and services are sourced efficiently and in line with project requirements. Working closely with supply chain and logistics teams, the role requires effective coordination to support timely delivery and inventory control. Key responsibilities include negotiating with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and terms, maintaining accurate procurement records, and collaborating with all stakeholders to align purchasing activity with operational needs and project deadlines.
