Müller UK & Ireland's Butter Plant in Market Drayton is recruiting for a permanent, full-time role. You will operate and monitor production machinery, perform basic maintenance, and help meet quality and waste targets. The role offers structured training and progression within a leading food manufacturer.

Starting salary is £32,951.76, rising to £38,594.96 after training. Benefits include life assurance, annual bonus, pension, health plans and exclusive Müller rewards.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude is essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork are required.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety practices preferred.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery.
• Carry out basic maintenance and fault finding.
• Meet production, quality and waste targets.
• Perform product testing and compliance checks.
• Maintain high hygiene, housekeeping and safety standards.
• Escalate issues promptly and support continuous improvement initiatives.
