Job summary

Staffline is recruiting for a Butchers Shop Assistant in Andover with onsite butchery, packing and despatch. The role offers fixed shifts: Tue–Fri 7am–5pm and Sat 7am–2pm, paying £13.55–£20.33 per hour. You will handle basic knife tasks, deliver strong customer service and work in a friendly team environment.

Applicants should have knife handling experience, be willing to learn meat cuts, and be able to lift heavy items. PPE provided, canteen and free onsite parking available.

Staffline are recruiting for Butchers Shop Assistants in Andover.

The rate of pay is £13.55 per hour

The hours of work are fixed shifts:

• Tues­dy to Friday - 7am to 5pm
• Saturday - 7am to 2pm

• Basic butchery tasks requiring basic knife skills.
• Strong communication skills with retail customers; Demonstrating great people skills and contributing to a very welcoming environment.
• Ability to work within a strong tightknit team environment with co-workers.
• Work to the dictates of the customer.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have knife handling experience and willing to learn different meat cuts but first and foremost be a good customer facing shop assistants.

Applicants will be able to lift heavy pieces of meat within a confined space and have manual handling capabilities.
