Job summary

Quest Employment in Bedford is seeking an experienced butcher to join our team in a slaughter environment. You will prepare and cut meats to customer specifications, handle carcasses, boning, trimming, and processing, while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.

The role is full-time, temporary to permanent, with shifts 06:00 to 15:00, and a starting pay of £12.71 per hour. Free transport is provided to help you get to work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a butcher or in a similar role, particularly in a slaughter environment.
• Ability to handle all aspects of butchery including boning, trimming and preparing meats.
• Strong focus on safety, hygiene and product quality.
