Job summary

Staffline is recruiting for a Butcher in Westerleigh, Bristol, at a pork-processing and abattoir site. The role is full-time with fixed shifts and pays £13.63 per hour, with overtime at £20.45 per hour.

You will dismantle pork cuts, trim waste, and maintain hygiene while handling knives safely. Training is provided; prior experience is desirable but not essential.

Great opportunity to work as a Butcher for our client's pork-processing and abattoir site.

Staffline is recruiting Butchers in Westerleigh, Bristol.

The rate of pay is £13.63 per hour.

Overtime is available and is paid at £20.45 per hour.

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts and the hours of work are:

• 06:45am to 4:30pm

Your Time at Work

As a Butcher you will be responsible for:

• Dismantling pork sides, shoulders, loins, bellies and legs into primal and sub-primal cuts
• Removing bones, excess fat and rind while minimizing product waste
• Operating sharp knives safely while following strict food hygiene and health regulations

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker must be able to do a heavy physical role for pro-longed periods, a level of manual lifting and heavy lifting is involved.

Applicants will be reliable, punctual and show good commitment.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
