XIST4 IT Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Business Systems Support & Data Analyst to own and improve the core business systems and data reporting in a Bristol hybrid role. You will configure, support, and secure SaaS platforms, CRM, and Power BI, turning data into actionable insight for colleagues.
The role combines hands-on system administration with data quality, reporting, and practical improvements, with remote coordination and occasional off-site tasks as needed.
Business Systems Support & Data Analyst | SaaS, CRM, Power BI, hybrid Bristol
£50,000 to £55,000
Hybrid working in Bristol, three days a week in the office if local.
This is a business systems support role with data, reporting, and insights built in.
It is not a pure Business Analyst role. It is not a pure Data Analyst role. It is not a big data or data-crunching job.
You will support and improve the systems that a growing professional services business runs on, help colleagues use those systems effectively, and turn the data within them into clear, useful reporting.
Our client is a small, technology-led professional services business with modern systems already in place. They now need one clear owner for business applications, SaaS platforms, CRM administration, data quality, reporting, and practical improvement.
There is real opportunity here. You will be able to lead on systems, data quality, reporting, automation, and better ways of working. But you also need to be happy doing the hands-on parts: users, permissions, configuration, documentation, system queries, and supplier coordination.
There is an external managed IT provider to lean on for specialist technical delivery. You will be the informed internal owner who keeps things moving.
You might be a Business Systems Support Analyst, Applications Analyst, Systems Analyst, CRM Administrator, Operations Systems Analyst, Systems Administrator, or Reporting Analyst with strong systems experience.
You will probably enjoy a hybrid role. Part systems support, part applications admin, part data quality, part reporting, part process improvement.
This will not suit someone who only wants requirements workshops, stakeholder mapping, or dashboard work. It will suit someone who enjoys being useful, getting close to the business, and solving practical problems for people.
You will have ownership of a defined systems and data environment in a small professional services business where your work will be seen.
You will not be one small part of a large IT, data, or change team. You will be the person people come to for systems, reporting, data quality, and practical improvement.
This role suits someone ambitious, but not precious. You may be leading ideas in one meeting, then helping with access, configuration, or a system query the next. That balance is the job.
This is not the right move if you are looking for a pure Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or MI Analyst role. It is the right move if you enjoy business systems support, data, reporting, and being close to the people who use what you build.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and will provide reasonable adjustments where needed
