BAM Site Solutions is looking to recruit a Business System Analyst to support the business with digital systems by assisting users, resolving system queries and issues, identifying areas for system improvement, and aiding in the implementation of new modules or enhancements. The analyst will also develop, design, and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights for decision-making.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, based on-site in Wellingborough.

Your responsibilities

1. Collaborate with system users and respond to queries and issues
2. Resolve and escalate system issues and tickets appropriately
3. Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs
4. Develop, design, and maintain reports and dashboards in IBM Cognos and Power BI
5. Evaluate systems and processes for improvements
6. Track change requests and report progress
7. Support end-users with system training and best practices
8. Create training guides and conduct system testing
9. Ensure data accuracy and develop data quality frameworks
10. Identify opportunities to automate data collection and reporting
11. Collaborate across functions, such as IT
12. Coordinate meetings and workshops

Candidate requirements

1. Experience in designing and maintaining dashboards
2. Strong systems analysis skills
3. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools like Excel and Power BI; knowledge of SQL, database management, API integration, or IBM Cognos is a plus
4. Understanding of file formats such as CSV, XML, JSON
5. Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
6. Excellent communication skills for conveying complex data
