About the role

Are you an organised, proactive professional who enjoys keeping things running smoothly? We are looking for a Business Support Officer to provide high-quality administrative and operational support across JRHT’s Property Services team, helping to strengthen our services and support the delivery of our strategic priorities.

You’ll play an important role in supporting the effective delivery of repairs, maintenance, compliance and wider property services. Working across the team, you’ll ensure that systems, records and documentation are accurate, up to date and well maintained.

You’ll work with a wide range of people, including colleagues, contractors and residents, providing a responsive and professional service and helping to ensure that information is communicated clearly and requests are managed effectively. Your organisation, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities will be key to ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day operation of Property Services.

This is a varied role where your work will make a real difference, helping our teams deliver efficient, well‑coordinated services and ensuring that our residents receive a positive and responsive service.

About you

We’re looking for an experienced and highly organised administrator to join our team in a busy operational environment. You’ll bring significant experience in an administrative, coordination or business support role, ideally within housing, property services, repairs, maintenance or a similar service environment.

You’ll have experience working with business systems, databases or service request platforms, along with the ability to manage high volumes of administrative activity, including scheduling, correspondence and coordination. You’ll be confident working with a wide range of stakeholders, including residents, contractors and internal service teams, and will have experience supporting basic financial processes such as purchase orders, invoice processing and procurement administration.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills and be able to manage competing priorities effectively while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to deal professionally and positively with a diverse range of stakeholders. You’ll be competent in using Microsoft Office applications and confident in learning and adapting to new systems and processes. A strong understanding of the importance of data accuracy, confidentiality and delivering excellent customer service is also essential.

Closing date for applications is 18th September 2026.

Interviews will take place on either 1st or 2nd October 2026.
