West Midlands Police’s Learning and Development Department’s main training site is based at Tally Ho Training College, Pershore Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham.
A range of training is commissioned, designed and delivered from this site, including Personal Safety Training, First Aid, Investigative Training, ICT, learning programmes for all new student Officers, Police Community Safety Officers and Detention Escort Officers.
The training provision from this site is increasing to include Public Order and Tactical Training and therefore an already busy and thriving workplace is set to become even more of a centre of excellence for West Midlands Police.
Main Purpose of the Role:
With the day-to-day support of site Duty Manager, the role will undertake Front of House and general administrative duties working mainly within the reception area of the main building.

Location: Tally-Ho Police Training College, Edgbaston, Birmingham
Hours: Monday to Friday 0800 x 1600, however we do have a flexible working scheme.
Vetting: Successful applicants will be required to pass Recruitment Vetting and Counter Terrorism Clearance scrutiny prior to commencing their role, which will include a full background & financial disclosure as part of the vetting process.
Medical: Appointment to this role will be dependent upon successfully passing medical checks, which may include a drugs test and, if required, a fitness test.
