The London Borough of Havering is seeking a Business Support Officer for a one-year secondment. This role focuses on leasehold compliance, requiring strong communication and numeracy skills. The position supports the Home Ownership team in delivering high-quality services to homeowners, with an emphasis on efficiency and customer service.
Business Support Officer (Home Ownership) - 1 year Secondment opportunity / fixed term contract.
GRADE 4 Salary: £30,630 - £32,931 per annum
At London Borough of Havering's Home Ownership team, we are working to improve the service and compliance of leasehold management. We manage leasehold compliance, sales and marketing, Right to Buy, income recovery, and service charge billing and consultation. Our portfolio includes properties across the borough, with a growth in new build properties. We aim to increase efficiencies and transparency for our homeowners.
This role is key in leasehold compliance, helping the team deliver high-quality services to homeowners. It is the anchor of the team, initiating processes and passing information efficiently between colleagues. You will need to use your initiative, maintain records, and report performance information.
