About the Team and Role
This Business Support Officer role is based at the Front Door of Children’s Social Care and is situated within the Children’s Single Point of Access (C-SPA) and Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). Due to the nature of the role, the working pattern is between 08:30 and 17:30 on a rota basis.
C-SPA/ MASH plays an integral part in supporting Gloucestershire’s most vulnerable children and families, as well as being the first contact point for professionals and members of the public. The Business Support Officers are the first point of contact via email, reception and phone. The role also requires the post holder to access databases to extract and collate information that can be shared in response to information requests and safeguarding concerns.
About You
You will have excellent communication and ICT skills and an analytical mind to extract relevant information from various data systems. You will also be accustomed to working to deadlines and have an interest or knowledge of children’s safeguarding. The nature of the work is handling highly sensitive information which can sometimes be distressing so resilience is also key to this role.
