Brief Posting Description
Driving and ensuring proper implementation of sales strategies and plans in the market. Efficiently manage and coordinate pricing and sales-related processes in designated markets to maximize POS revenue. Monitor the performance of assigned countries and routes to develop and provide valuable management information. Conduct strategic research in the area for future opportunities and growth.
Detailed Description
- Identify and support the sales team to ensure all opportunities are captured.
- Support the implementation of commercial policies and sales excellence initiatives.
- Monitor the impact of market activities and return on investments.
- Recommend and monitor sales incentives and promotions to enhance revenue and market share.
- Track market developments and take appropriate actions to maintain or grow market share.
- Provide accurate and timely POS forecasts, focusing on demand, yield, and local market trends.
- Proactively signal changing trends, patterns, and market circumstances.
- Identify opportunities regarding low-load flights and conduct competitor analyses.
- Communicate professionally and persuasively internally and with Revenue Management, liaising with Field Pricer.
- Regularly review business results, forward bookings, segmentation, distribution strategies, and other relevant MI on assigned markets and routes.
- Ensure timely delivery of commercial reports, including weekly area reports, monthly reports, and quarterly updates.
- Achieve budgeted revenue targets, including ancillary sales.
- Support contracts and maximize revenue with contracted agents.
- Create and maintain customer and agent databases for easy access to data.
- Process and manage non-IATA agent portfolios, COMM-flex, and Waiver Management.
- Support EU sales with trade support, exhibitions, and events.
- Handle personalized bookings and reservations from key customers as directed by the Regional Manager and other leadership.
Job Requirements
- University degree in Business or related field
- Knowledge of revenue management and pricing principles
- Experience in ticketing and sales
- Proficiency with Altea, Amadeus, Monet, Delorian
- Experience with MI and reporting tools
- Understanding of field operations
- At least 3 years of airline experience in a commercial environment
- Experience in the airline industry
