Job summary

GDST Nottingham Girls’ High School is seeking a proactive Business Support Administrator to join the busy school office. The role covers diary management, data entry, reception duties, safeguarding and health & safety, and supporting events, inductions and pupil welfare.

The successful candidate will have strong admin experience, excellent communication, and the ability to prioritise a busy workload, working collaboratively within a friendly team. Flexible for job-share considered.

Responsibilities

  • Diary management, data entry, filing, processing orders, reprographics, emails and supplies.
  • Greet visitors, manage calls, oversee sign-in procedures, safeguarding and health and safety.
  • Support school events, trips, meetings, pupil induction, supervision and occasional classroom or off-site tasks.
  • Assist with pupil welfare; first aid if qualified; maintain medical records.
  • Contribute to newsletters and notices; provide guidance on school procedures.
