Job summary

The Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST) is recruiting at Northampton High School for a part-time role aligned with term-time hours. You will assist in supporting pupils, helping their learning, and contributing to a safe, caring environment before and after school.

Contract: 30 hours per week, term time only + 15 daysSalary: £20479.54 actual (£27,987.00 FTE)Location: Northampton High School, Newport Pagnell Road, Hardingstone, NN4 6UU

What you’ll be doing

To play a complementary and supporting role to the teacher in encouraging pupils in their learning and the acquisition of skills and assist in providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children before and/or after school hours, including play and learning opportunities.

What skills and experience you’ll bring to the role

You will have relevant experience in an educational establishment/setting, and show demonstrable evidence of establishing positive relationships with children, and experience of supporting children in a learning environment. Please see the attached job description for more information.
