Job summary

Northampton High School - GDST in Northampton is seeking a supportive role to assist teachers and pupils, providing a safe, caring environment before and/or after school hours. You will have relevant experience in an educational setting and demonstrate the ability to build positive relationships with children.

Job description

Contract: 30 hours per week, term time only + 15 days

Salary: £20479.54 actual (£27,987.00 FTE)

What you’ll be doing

To play a complementary and supporting role to the teacher in encouraging pupils in their learning and the acquisition of skills and assist in providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children before and/or after school hours, including play and learning opportunities.

What skills and experience you’ll bring to the role

You will have relevant experience in an educational establishment/setting, and show demonstrable evidence of establishing positive relationships with children, and experience of supporting children in a learning environment. Please see the attached job description for more information.
