Thalia is offering a 12-month fixed term opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to step into the role of Business Support Analyst. This is a great opportunity to develop your commercial, data, and reporting skills within a busy operational contract environment, while contributing to key performance and compliance across Allerton Waste Recovery Park.
This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days required at site (HG5 0SD)
What’s the role about?
As Business Support Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in managing tonnage data, reporting for the Authority, and overseeing the setup and administration of our supply chain. You’ll support the site Senior Management Team and work closely with finance and operations to ensure processes are smooth, accurate, and aligned with contract requirements. You’ll be confident managing data (in Excel and Power BI), producing reports, processing supplier payments, and coordinating day-to-day business support functions. Your work will directly contribute to the success of the contract and our service to the community.

Our technology includes everything from mechanical and biological treatment, traditional mass-burn energy from waste and material recycling technologies to in-vessel composting, advanced thermal treatment, innovative small-scale energy from waste and anaerobic digestion. In a single year we process 300,000 tonnes of waste that is turned into energy. This generates the same amount of energy as approximately 600 million solar panels. Similarly we recycle circa 95,000 tonnes of waste.
