Job summary

ONNEC Group in London is seeking a Business Software Support Analyst to support, administer, and improve key business applications across Finance, HR, Payroll, Operations, and Procurement. You will be the point of contact for GenticIQ NetSuite, PeopleHR, Power BI, Halo, RDE, Expensify and related systems.

As part of a fast-growing team, you will troubleshoot user issues, manage support tickets, and contribute to system upgrades, reporting, data insights, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting business-critical software in finance, HR, payroll or operations.
• Knowledge of NetSuite including roles, permissions, workflows, and reporting.
• Experience with SQL, Power Query, APIs, integrations or data migration.
• Ability to document processes clearly and train users.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level day-to-day support for core business applications, acting as an escalation point for complex system issues.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve user issues across business systems, ensuring ownership through to resolution.
• Log, manage, and progress support tickets through the service portal, Halo.
• Support system upgrades, enhancements, testing, documentation, reporting, data extraction, user access, APIs, integrations and permissions.
• Support the successful implementation of new business applications and system enhancements across the organisation.
• Power BI, Reporting and Data Insight.
• Business Process Improvement and Change Support.
• Training, Documentation and Knowledge Sharing.

This role will act as point of support for business-critical systems, helping users across Finance, HR, Payroll, Operations, Procurement, Projects, and other teams get the best from systems including GenticIQ NetSuite, PeopleHR, Power BI, Halo, RDE, Expensify, and related business applications.

What we're looking for in our Business Software Support Analyst

• Proven experience supporting business-critical software applications in a business systems, software support, systems administration, business analyst, or similar role.
• Practical experience supporting ERP, HR, payroll, reporting, or operational business systems.
• Proven working knowledge of NetSuite systems, including users, roles, permissions, workflows, reporting, and business process support.
• Good working knowledge of PeopleHR / PeopleXD including employee data, workflows, access rights, logbooks, reporting, and HR/payroll process support.
• Strong Power BI reporting capability, including requirements gathering, dashboard development, data transformation, data modelling, and report optimisation.
• Strong data accuracy, data integrity, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work with Finance, HR, Payroll, Procurement, Operations, IT, and external vendors.
• Ability to document processes clearly and train users in plain language.
• A proactive, solution-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
• NetSuite Administrator certification or formal NetSuite training.
• Experience with SQL, Power Query, dataflows, APIs, integrations, or data migration.
• Experience with GenetIQ, Halo, Expensify, Active Directory, payroll systems, or other business platforms.
• Experience supporting HR processes such as starters, movers, leavers, absence, sickness, right to work, benefits, etc
• ITIL, business analysis, project management, or change management certification.
