Durham County Council is seeking a experienced Senior Co-ordinator to lead a business services team and deliver high-quality admin support across planning, development, spatial policy and environmental design. A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Business Services for a motivated and people-focused Senior Co-ordinator to join our team on a full-time temporary basis, working 37 hours per week. This is a key role within Durham County Council, where you’ll provide first-line people management and play an important part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality business support and administrative services across the organisation.
You’ll be supporting Business Services colleagues working across Planning & Development, Spatial Policy, Building Control and Environmental Design, making this a varied and rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working collaboratively and making a real difference.
As a Business Services Senior Co-ordinator, you’ll provide leadership, guidance and support to a business services team, helping colleagues to deliver an effective, responsive and high-quality service.
You’ll need a strong understanding of the activities, processes and systems delivered by the team, together with the ability to work collaboratively across different service areas and team boundaries.
