Job summary

Butler Rose Ltd in Cambridge is seeking an experienced Business Services Accounts Manager to lead a diverse portfolio and deliver outsourced finance, compliance and advisory services. You will work with senior leadership and oversee UK and offshore teams to shape service delivery.

The role requires ACA/ACCA or equivalent, strong accounting and tax knowledge, and experience managing a portfolio within an accountancy practice. Remote/offshore collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent and experienced in practice.
• Proven ability to manage a mixed client portfolio.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounts and corporate tax.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of a mixed client portfolio and deliver statutory and management accounts.
• Review statutory accounts under FRS 105/102 and oversee tax computations.
• Lead and develop UK and offshore accounting teams and client onboarding.
• Drive efficiency, billing, WIP monitoring, and service quality improvements.
