Duncan & Toplis is recruiting an efficient and experienced Business Services Accountant to support client accounts preparation and provide comprehensive accounting and business advisory services at our Leicester or Grantham locations.

You will work as part of a team, handling high-quality client work within budget and developing relationships to maximise yield and performance, with opportunities for business development across the firm's services.

Formación

• ACA or ACCA qualified or with a minimum of three years' experience.

We have the opportunity for an efficient and experienced accountant to join our team as a Business Services Accountant to support the provision of business compliance and advice services at our Leicester or Grantham locations.

What does this role involve?

As Business Services Accountant, you will be responsible for undertaking the preparation of client accounts and assisting with the provision of a comprehensive accounting and business advisory service.

You will confidently provide high-level client work, efficiently and within budget, requiring minimal assistance and supervision.

Teamwork

You will work as part of a team to support the training and development of team members, including regular reviews of work and providing constructive feedback to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality services.

Client experience

Developing working relationships with clients and assisting in all aspects to maximise yield and performance is a key part of this role. Where appropriate, you will initiate and take an active role in business development by promoting our full range of services to clients.

Skills and experience

• Have good communication skills, enabling you to work effectively and collaboratively in a team.
• Have the ability to develop professional and technical knowledge.
• Have familiarity with accounting software.
• Be ACA or ACCA qualified or with a minimum of three years' experience.
