Duncan & Toplis is seeking an efficient Business Services Accountant to join our Leicester or Grantham team, focusing on preparing client accounts and delivering accounting and business advisory services. You will work within a collaborative team to ensure high-quality, on-budget client delivery.
You will be involved in developing professional knowledge, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting business development initiatives across our service lines.
We have the opportunity for an efficient and experienced accountant to join our team as a Business Services Accountant to support the provision of business compliance and advice services at our Leicester or Grantham locations.
As Business Services Accountant, you will be responsible for undertaking the preparation of client accounts and assisting with the provision of a comprehensive accounting and business advisory service.
You will confidently provide high-level client work, efficiently and within budget, requiring minimal assistance and supervision.
You will work as part of a team to support the training and development of team members, including regular reviews of work and providing constructive feedback to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality services.
Developing working relationships with clients and assisting in all aspects to maximise yield and performance is a key part of this role. Where appropriate, you will initiate and take an active role in business development by promoting our full range of services to clients.
