Business Service Manager - Technology CSC - Counter Terrorism Policing HQ
Salary: The starting salary is £53,459, including allowances totaling £2,928. The salary breakdown is as follows: £50,531 basic salary (which increases annually until reaching £55,103), a location allowance of £1,928, and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) relies on high-performing individuals daily. As a Business Service Manager, you will manage service level agreements, operational agreements, and underpinning contracts to ensure CTP receives consistent, high-quality services. Your work will support CTP's mission to keep the country safe. Join our team and help protect the UK.
You will be part of the Customer Service Centre (CSC), which provides national IT services for CTP. You will work closely with internal teams and third-party vendors to support service delivery and ensure service level agreements are met.
Your responsibilities include monitoring and managing services, producing management reports, tracking service levels, conducting service reviews, and liaising with stakeholders to identify improvements.
Required experience includes ITIL service management processes such as Service Level Management, Supplier Management, Service Reporting, Change Management, and Problem Management. You should be comfortable making decisions in a busy service environment.
Technical knowledge should encompass IT hardware, Cisco and Microsoft technologies, data centre management, and monitoring and automation tools. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
