Business Service Manager - Technology CSC - Counter Terrorism Policing HQ
Salary: The starting salary is £53,459, including allowances totaling £2,928. The salary breakdown is £50,531 basic, increasing annually up to £55,103, plus a location allowance of £1,928 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.
Location: Birmingham
Description: Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) relies on high-performing individuals. As a Business Service Manager, you will manage service level agreements, operational agreements, and contracts to ensure high-quality services supporting CTP's mission to keep the country safe. You will join the Customer Service Centre (CSC), providing national IT services for CTP, working with internal teams and third-party vendors to meet service level agreements.
You will monitor and manage services, produce management reports, track service levels, conduct reviews, and liaise with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities. Experience with ITIL service management processes, including Service Level Management, Supplier Management, Service Reporting, Change Management, and Problem Management, is required. Technical knowledge should include IT hardware, Cisco and Microsoft technologies, data centre management, and automation tools. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
