Your responsibilities

1. Understand UK commercial trading strategies and contribute with technology and IT focus.
2. Support in creating the Technology Roadmap aligned with the CT30 Strategy alongside Commercial Technology teams.
3. Manage business change for strategic projects, including prioritization and scope management.
4. Lead program and project management of large IT initiatives.
5. Coordinate with CTG leads to set priorities for IT programs/projects, including financial planning aligned with the MTP.
6. Ensure IT delivers projects within budget, time, and scope, with stakeholder support and buy-in.
7. Define project delivery methodology and governance in collaboration with stakeholders.
8. Lead and motivate teams responsible for requirements gathering, analysis, system design, documentation, coding, testing, UAT, implementation, and support, including infrastructure requests from outsourced partners.
9. Negotiate and liaise with key commercial areas to understand business strategies and their impact on the Technology Roadmap.
10. Collaborate with project management teams to enhance delivery capabilities.

Your profile

• Strong academic background, likely with graduate-level education.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including:
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Workshop facilitation and presentation skills
• Stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Ability to build effective relationships with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Good financial and commercial awareness.
• Proven problem-solving skills for complex issues.
• Experience managing multi-million, multi-year IT programs in the energy sector.
• Commercial experience in the Power Sector.
