Your responsibilities

1. Understand UK commercial trading strategies and contribute technology and IT focus accordingly.
2. Create the Technology Roadmap based on the CT30 Strategy alongside other Commercial Technology functions.
3. Manage Business Change for strategic projects, including prioritization and scope management.
4. Lead Program and Project Management of large IT initiatives.
5. Coordinate with CTG leads to prioritize IT programs/projects and manage financial planning aligned with the MTP.
6. Ensure IT delivers projects within budget, time, and scope, securing stakeholder support.
7. Establish project delivery methodologies and governance with stakeholders.
8. Lead and motivate teams responsible for requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, implementation, and support, including infrastructure requests from outsourced partners.
9. Negotiate with key commercial areas to understand business strategies and their impact on the Technology Roadmap.
10. Collaborate with Project Management teams to enhance delivery capabilities.

Your profile

• Strong academic background, likely with graduate education.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to build effective relationships with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Good financial and commercial awareness.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing multi-million, multi-year IT programs in the energy sector.
• Commercial experience in the Power Sector.
