Job summary

MAP, part of WPP Enterprise Solutions, is seeking a Business Architect to join our team. You will drive commercial opportunities, map operating models, define roles, and develop solutions to modernize client ways of working across global brands.

You will work with peers and consultants in an international environment, collaborating with technology, data, marketing operations, and client teams. A bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years in related fields are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in Business Architecture or related disciplines.
• Working knowledge of process design, value streams and operating models.
• Experience in complex, matrixed environments.
• Excellent communication, writing, storytelling and presentation skills.

What will your day look like?

As a member of our Business Architecture team, you will work with peers and other consultants, driving commercial opportunities and helping us take our service offering to the next level. More specifically, your tasks include:

• Conducting interviews with key stakeholders to gather information about current ways of working
• Mapping and designing organisational operating models, capabilities, and marketing processes
• Defining and describing roles, responsibilities, and decision-rights frameworks
• Developing and implementing solutions to support and improve our clients' ways of working
• Identifying areas of improvement and providing recommendations to optimize organizational performance, structure, and delivery effectiveness
• Developing operational playbooks, training materials, and change/adoption strategies that translate new ways of working into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders at all levels
• Engaging and facilitating workshops with client stakeholders — including cross-functional and executive audiences — to build understanding and drive adoption of new processes, tools, or templates
• Identifying opportunities to apply AI, automation, and data-driven insight to modernize client processes and improve operational performance
• Owning end-to-end client workstreams related to ways of working, which includes project management and coordination between teams

You are strong at building relationships, running processes, and translating complexity into clear, compelling stories. In addition, you have:

• A bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration, marketing, social sciences, or a similar field
• 5-8 years of experience in Business Architecture, Process Consulting, Organization Design, Change Management or similar disciplines
• Working knowledge of business architecture practices such as process design, value streams, and operating model design
• A demonstrated ability to work in complex, matrixed environments, both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, including research, writing, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to form and maintain cross-functional relationships and drive stakeholder alignment
• A willingness to travel and be flexible, as many of our clients and colleagues are located in other time zones
