We're looking for an experienced Business Operations Manager to join our dynamic team and drive operational excellence and strategic alignment within Smartly.
As the Business Operations Manager at Smartly, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our executive leadership team and optimizing our operational efficiency. This is an influential position that requires a combination of strategic thinking, project management, and exceptional communication skills. You will work closely with senior leaders, ensuring the smooth execution of critical initiatives and providing the strategic support needed to drive our company forward.
As a Business Operations Manager at Smartly, you will focus on…
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the executive leadership team to ensure that company strategies and goals are clearly defined and communicated throughout the organization. Provide insights and recommendations to enhance strategic alignment.
- Project Management: Lead and manage key cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring they are executed on time, on budget, and within scope. Develop and maintain project plans, track progress, and report on status to leadership.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, streamline workflows, and enhance overall efficiency. Implement best practices to drive productivity and resource utilization.
- Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret data to provide insights, make informed decisions, and support data-driven initiatives. Create reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics.
- Executive Support: Act as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team, providing support in various capacities, including preparing data, analysis, insights, recommendations, and assisting in decision-making processes.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration across teams and departments. Ensure that key messages are conveyed clearly and consistently throughout the organization.
- Change Management: Lead change management efforts to drive organizational transformation, including the adoption of new processes, tools, or strategies.

- Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Proven experience in a consulting or operations role, ideally in a fast-paced technology or digital marketing environment.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Ability to work in the London Smartly office for 3 days a week (hybrid structure)
