Job summary
Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Business Translator? (Note: position: Business / Transaction Manager) based in Walton-on-Thames to support Sales Executives and drive dealership performance.
The role requires strong Finance & Insurance knowledge, compliance awareness, and the ability to coach a sales team through a 12-month maternity cover contract. The position offers a £35,000 basic salary with an OTE of £65,000, a 44-hour week, and weekend rota.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive sales experience is essential.
- Experience as a Business Manager, Transaction Manager or Senior Sales Executive would be suitable.
- Strong understanding of automotive Finance & Insurance products.
- Good knowledge of compliance and treating customers fairly.
- Confident coaching and supporting Sales Executives.
- Strong commercial awareness and performance focus.
- Comfortable monitoring results, planning and forecasting.
- Full UK Driving Licence - essential.
- Right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Support Sales Executives and drive dealership sales performance.
- Identify suitable customer finance and insurance options while maintaining a compliant sales process.
- Monitor Finance & Insurance performance against dealership expectations.
- Coach and develop the Sales Team to achieve business objectives.
- Support management with planning, forecasting and dealership performance.
- Maintain strong product and regulatory knowledge.
- Monitor sales activity and provide regular performance feedback to management.

- Hours: 44 hours per week on a rota basis - Monday to Friday 9:00am-6:00pm, Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm and Sunday 11:00am-3:00pm
