Job summary

Sodexo Live! invites applications for a Casual Guest Service role at our Hatton site, supporting lounge operations, beverage service and guest information.

You will welcome guests, respond to inquiries, and help maintain a clean, comfortable environment that meets the highest standards. You’ll work with lounge hosts, kitchen and housekeeping teams, adapt to peak periods, follow safety procedures, and resolve guest issues with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Provide information about lounge facilities, amenities and services.
• Monitor lounge areas and replenish beverages and guest supplies as needed.
• Adhere to health, safety, and airport regulations, reporting hazards promptly.
• Work with lounge hosts, housekeeping and kitchen teams to ensure smooth operations.

Job description

Guest Service

• Welcome and acknowledge guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide information regarding lounge facilities, amenities and services.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance.
• Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and escrow when necessary.

Lounge Operations

• Ensure the lounge is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and comfort.
• Monitor seating areas, dining areas, workstations, and restrooms throughout the shift.
• Replenish food, beverages, amenities, and guest supplies as required.
• Support lounge opening, operational, and closing procedures.
• Assist with VIP arrivals, special requests, and disrupted flight situations.

Food & Beverage Support

• Monitor buffet and beverage stations to ensure products are stocked, fresh, and presented attractively.
• Observe food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Communicate replenishment and maintenance requirements to the kitchen and housekeeping teams.

Safety and Compliance

• Adhere to company policies, airline standards, and airport regulations.
• Follow health, safety, security, and emergency procedures.
• Report hazards, incidents, accidents, and maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and airline information.

Teamwork and Communication

• Work collaboratively with lounge hosts, housekeeping, kitchen staff, and airline representatives.
• Participate in daily operational briefings and team meetings.
• Support colleagues during peak operational periods.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.

Requirements

• Customer service or hospitality experience.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and guest recovery skills.
• Professional appearance and presentation.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and shift work

Preferred

• Experience within airline lounge or premium hospitality environments.

Package Description

• 37.5hours per week
• £13.60 per hour
• Shift work pattern
• - 2 early 2 lates and 2 off
• This role is casual and will be made permanent upon obtaining airside pass.
• Must be able to provide 5-year checkable work history for airport clearance
