Job summary

Sodexo Live! Hatton is seeking a Commi Chef or Kitchen Assistant to support the kitchen team in preparing, assembling and cooking dishes for guests, ensuring high-quality meals and presentation.

You will contribute to excellent service, manage waste to control costs, and uphold strict health and food safety standards in a busy lounge environment.

Job description

• Working alongside the kitchen team, you will be part of a dynamic group that aims to provide food that not only exceeds our guest expectations in flavour, substance and presentation, but is also in line with agreed company & legal standards
• Ensure that the food costs of the business are well managed by minimising waste
• To prepare, assemble, and cook all assigned menu dishes, providing high-quality dishes for the customer and client
• Provide high-quality service to customers in line with a food service offer agreed with the client
• Adhere and monitor all health and food safety, in a proactive way
  Previous experience as Commi Chef or Kitchen Assistant, who has worked in busy and fast paced work environment
• Calm and patient under pressure
• Able to work within a very busy lounge and stressful environment
• Overall, a passion for food
• Demonstrative customer focus and service skills

Package Description

• 40 hours per week
• Rate of Pay : £15.21 per hour
• Timings: 5 days a week (10pm-6 am)
• This role is casual and will be made permanent upon obtaining airside pass.
• Must be able to provide 5-year checkable work history for airport clearance
