We are currently looking for a Business Development Salesperson to join dormakaba and become an integral part of our expanding physical entrance systems sales team.

Your Tasks

Our Entrance Systems sales team works with a wide range of businesses, from architects and main contractors to end users, requiring physical access control systems (speedgates, turnstiles, readers, etc.). Projects vary from office development replacements to high-profile projects like sports stadiums and entertainment complexes. This role offers a variety of projects and customers, with uncapped commission potential.

Based from home, your main responsibility will be to build and maintain our business in northern England. You will proactively manage your diary and workload, plan and track opportunities, arrange meetings, and consult with clients.

We value collaboration. Our most successful salespeople work closely with other team members across dormakaba, leveraging cross-selling opportunities to maximize business growth.

Your Skills
  • Previous experience in territory sales within the construction industry, selling to architects, main contractors, FM businesses, and possibly end users.
  • A proven track record of sales growth and client retention in your area.
  • Experience sourcing clients through construction market lead software such as Babour ABI or Glenigans.
  • Experience presenting CPDs is a plus but not essential.
  • Resident in the North Midlands or North of England, along the M6 corridor (Birmingham-Manchester) or M1 corridor (Leicester-Leeds).
