Business Development Representative - United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Job Description:

Telent is seeking a driven, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking Business Development Representative to join our Sales & Marketing team within the Network Services division. The role involves building relationships within the Emergency Services, Public Sector, Government, Utilities, and Nuclear sectors. The position requires participating in Telent training and collaborating with teams at our Warwick and Camberley offices, at least one day per week, alternating weekly.

The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a key role in Telent's go-to-market strategy. As you grow in this role, we will support your career development at Telent.

BDR - Responsibilities:

  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of Telent, our offerings, and markets to educate prospects.
  • Support the sales pipeline by researching target accounts and stakeholders.
  • Create and coordinate campaigns for prospect accounts based on territory research.
  • Perform outreach via phone, email, social media, and creative efforts to generate interest and promote services.
  • Follow up on inbound leads from marketing, converting them into meetings and opportunities.
  • Analyze and report on weekly activities and pipeline efforts.

BDR - Candidate Profile:

We seek resilient, driven, self-motivated candidates with relevant sales experience, especially outbound sales, and the ability to generate new leads. Experience in other industries is welcomed. A university degree or equivalent, with some office experience, is preferred.
