The primary purpose of this role is to support the success of our UK Enterprise team by profiling and securing new appointments with New Logo prospects.

What you will do

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for profiling, discovery, outreach, and securing appointments with New Logo prospects in the Enterprise sector.

  • Profile prospects based on Colt’s Sweet Spot
  • Understand prospects' business strategies and align Colt’s solutions to deliver measurable value
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of potential clients and maintain their interest long-term
  • Use your skills, character, and initiative within the Outreach framework to secure appointments
  • Develop and execute an effective contact strategy to engage all levels of the prospect organization
  • Create proactive, outcome-based messaging and content
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop messaging that addresses customer outcomes
  • Achieve or surpass personal sales KPIs and work according to the business plan with your manager
  • Handover appointments professionally to the relevant Account Executive
What we're looking for

Skills & Experience

Must-haves:

  • Experience in business development within a similar or transferable environment
  • Experience prospecting into mid-large size global companies
  • Comfort with modern outreach techniques such as email, social media, video, and calls
  • Familiarity with MEDDICC or similar qualification methodologies
  • Assertive verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strategic relationships
  • Strong analytical skills to translate data into customer insights and engagement strategies
  • Experience collaborating across teams (Sales, Product, Marketing, Service Delivery)

Might haves:

  • Strong consultative selling experience from another industry and interest in Telecoms
