Business Development Principal or Director (Banking)

Description

As a Business Development Principal/Director, you will drive business development and acquire new customers in the banking industry. You will support account teams in accessing new buying centres within large, complex accounts. Our goal is to sustainably expand our customer base of companies in the banking industry in the UK.

Responsibilities

How you’ll make an impact

  • Identify and approach prospects to generate leads and create new business opportunities, focusing on closing significant deals and ensuring smooth client handovers for ongoing management and growth.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships within target markets, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor. Represent Zühlke at events, conferences, and online platforms to enhance market presence and reputation.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and challenges, driving impactful marketing campaigns and aligning sales efforts with broader business strategies.

Qualifications

  • Active network within the banking sector, especially with decision-makers in IT and digital transformation.
  • Deep understanding of banking industry needs, challenges, and technological trends.
  • Proven experience in complex ICT sales, with a track record of success over several years.
  • Interest and knowledge in technology and banking-related implementation issues.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Degree in technology or related field (desirable).
