Job summary

Mitchell Maguire Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Business Development Manager for timber windows and doors. The role focuses on generating specifications and selling to architects, self-build developers and contractors within a defined regional area around Basingstoke, Reading, London to Portsmouth.

Salary is £35,000-£45,000 plus a £10,000 bonus, plus a company car and benefits package. You should have field sales experience in construction and be IT literate, with a driving license

Qualifications

• Must have field sales experience in the construction industry selling to architects, self-build developers & contractors.
• Background in joinery, doors, windows, timber, fenestration is preferred but not essential.
• IT literate and able to use digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Sell timber windows & doors to architects, self-build developers & contractors.
• Generate specifications and drive orders.
• Deal with a range of order values (£5k–£125k).
• Target turnover of £1m.

The ideal applicant will be an Business Development Manager – Timber Windows & Doors with:

• Must have field sales experience in the construction industry selling to architects, self-build developers & contractors
• Open on products sold however ideally from a joinery, doors, windows, timber, fenestration etc background (not essential)
• IT Literate
• Genuine ‘get up and go' work ethic
• Results orientated, hungry and enthusiastic
• Driving license and passport
