Job summary

LivGreen Ltd is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to fuel growth across retrofit and energy efficiency projects in the UK. You will identify opportunities, nurture senior-level relationships with Housing Associations and Local Authorities, and lead proposals from first contact to contract signing.

Ideal candidates bring experience in complex sales cycles, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in business development or consultative sales.
• Experience in construction, sustainability, energy efficiency, or housing sectors preferred.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to build value-based proposals.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Highly self-motivated with ability to manage a varied workload.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in retrofit and energy efficiency markets.
• Build and nurture relationships with Housing Associations and Local Authorities.
• Lead client meetings (virtual and in-person) and present LivGreen’s services.
• Respond to tenders and prepare commercial proposals with the team.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline in HubSpot and report progress against targets.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth handover from sales to delivery.
• Stay informed on sector changes and funding streams relevant to services.
• Contribute to ongoing development of business development strategy and market presence.
